Welcome to the Proactors Studio digital platform (the “Platform”), operated by Professional Actors Studio / Proactors Studio (“Proactors Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform.
By registering for an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. User Roles
The Platform supports different user roles, including but not limited to:
- Actors
- Screenwriters
Access to features and content may vary based on role and status.
3. User Content
Users may upload content including, but not limited to:
- Script sides
- Written descriptions
- Profile information
- Profile photos or avatars
By submitting content, you represent that you own the rights to the content or have permission to submit it.
License to Use Content
By uploading or submitting content, you grant Proactors Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and otherwise utilize the content solely for purposes related to operating the Platform, including:
- Educational and training use
- Internal business operations
- Platform functionality
- Promotional and marketing purposes related to Proactors Studio
This license does not transfer ownership of your content.
4. Profile Photos and Avatars
Users may upload a profile photo or avatar. By doing so, you grant Proactors Studio permission to display your image within the Platform and in promotional materials related to the Platform or Proactors Studio.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any image you upload.
5. Subscriptions and Fees
At this time, access to the Platform and its features is offered free of charge.
Proactors Studio reserves the right to introduce paid subscriptions, premium features, or fees in the future. Any such changes will be communicated in advance, and continued use of the Platform after such changes may require acceptance of updated terms or pricing.
6. Marketing Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive administrative, operational, and occasional marketing communications from Proactors Studio, including announcements, updates, and promotional messages.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe options provided or by contacting us directly.
7. Platform Use and Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Upload content that is defamatory, infringing, or offensive
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Proactors Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Content Review and Moderation
All submissions may be reviewed by administrators prior to approval or publication. Proactors Studio is not obligated to publish or make available any submitted content.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, structure, and proprietary materials, is owned by Proactors Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership rights to the Platform itself.
10. Termination
You may request account deletion at any time. Proactors Studio may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at its discretion, including for violations of these Terms or inactivity.
11. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” Proactors Studio makes no guarantees regarding availability, performance, or outcomes related to the use of the Platform.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proactors Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
13. Changes to These Terms
Proactors Studio may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
